She graduated from the University of Nottingham with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Studies in 2022 and in her final year at university, remotely joined the ArchDaily team as an Intern Editor at the start of 2022. She is keen on exploring architecture and interior design within film, media, and virtual environments but has recently switched her focus to news stories, taking any opportunity to scour the internet for any new and upcoming trends and hacks. She is currently on the hunt for a cosy rental space that she can turn into a home in London, eager to bring her many home-decor Pinterest boards to life.
Ideal Home Truths
Where’s your happy place?
It would definitely be my bedroom at my parent’s house. Whether it be hunched over my extensive PC setup at my desk playing video games and binging Netflix series, or tucked in bed with a caramel latte and my Kindle in hand, nothing hits quite like being in my own space. We also have two dogs, Charlee and Yuuki, who make being at home all the more sweeter.
What’s your home addiction?
I love cute and decorative miscellaneous bits and bobs. To me, there’s nothing worse than a space that has no indication that it’s been lived in at all. I want it all - photographs, art prints, souvenirs, merchandise from my favourite interests - little things that serve as reminders to people, things, and places that I love.
What is your next home project?
First and foremost, it would probably be finding a rental flat that I can actually claim as my own for the time being. Decorating and furnishing a place from scratch is a dream that I hope to accomplish soon enough to tick off my early-20s bucket list!
